What college do I want to go to?

- What university or college do you want to attend once you graduate from high school? Stanford University
- Why? (Write at least four sentences.) I am interested in studying either something related with sciences or laws. Stanford University is mostly known for his civil rights studies but it has developed it's sciences gracefully as well. I also like the atmosphere and the life style the alumni develop throughout their years of study. The campus and the facilities are gorgeous contributing to its overall appeal.

- Explain why a college degree would be important to your future. A college degree does not imply superiority or brilliance but most jobs require not only certain knowledge but also a college degree. If I am interested in obtaining an important or significant job I will need a college degree in my curriculum in ordered to be considered for the job. Most jobs require a college degree, making it one of the most important tools in life.

Assignment 3
1. What does the video say about how media influence works on individual people?
media plants different and new ideas into peoples heads. with a lot of work on persuasion they get the person to believe new ideas. even if the person thinks this new idea might be wrong, we believe it. much of the information might be biased and we still believe it just because someone important might say it.We interact physically less often.
2. What is your favorite fact pointed out in the video? Explain why this fact is important or interesting to you?
my favorite fact pointed out in the video is that facebook added over 200 million people in a year. i find this interesting because compared to other social medias it is extremely succesfull. the number of people on this network is larger than some small countries. we are all connecting through facebook.
3. How is multimedia effecting our daily lives? Do you think there such a thing as "too much media" in our lives?

it affects us socially because we are depending on the web to communicate. we no longer encourage person to person conversations its all messages. we may be more connected to each other but the quality of relationships is diminishing. people are less 'social'.

assignment 2
1. What media is used in my everyday life?
Media used in our everyday life are things such as videogames, movies, tv shows, songs, pictures and videos. We always seem to depend of using these kinds of media in our everyday entertainment.
2. In what ways have I used multimedia for a class assignment before?
When we embed videos to our blogs we are using media. Also when we put pictures and songs on the blog.
4. What is the difference between time-based media and static-media? Give examples of each.
5. Insert a video (into your blog) that discusses/shows/involves multimedia you are interested in. Now answer the following questions after you insert the video. How is this multimedia? Why does this interest you?
6. Adobe Flash- a multimedia and software platform used for authoring of vector graphics, animation, games and rich Internet applications that can be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player
7. Programming Languages- any of various high-level languages used for computer programs
8. Scripting Language (program- a programming language designed for integrating and communicating with other programming languages.
9. Interactivity- is the integration of digital media including combinations of electronic text, graphics, moving images, and sound, into a structured digital computerized environment that allows people to interact with the data for appropriate purposes.
10. Pixel- a minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed

The internet is the number one media producer. We can find all kinds of media on the internet, from pictures to videos.
4. What is the difference between time-based media and static-media? Give examples of each.
There is a fundamental distinction between time-based and static media: time-based media exhibit change over time; static media do not.
Video/Film, Sound, Theater-Performance-Dance, Interactive works that require viewer input are considered time-based media.
Still images (Photography, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking) and text are usually considered to be static media.
